After a sleepless 30 degree night, I fell out of bed this morning feeling more
I’m getting used to experiencing nasty leg cramps in the middle of the night and waking up with my whole body aching, but the heat last night took the cake as I struggled to sleep in a pool of my own sweat.
So, needless to say, I was feeling more shitty and less sparkly than usual.
Stumbling to the bathroom eyes barely opened, I commenced my daily ritualistic struggle with the puzzle of knots embedded firmly in my hair.
Yep, I sighed, I think it’s time to put an end to the skanky re-growth sad excuse of a hairdo and go to the hairdresser before the week is out.
The annoying thing about training twice a day every single day is deciding when I can wash my hair. Wash it too much and it starts resembling a prickly mess of a broom, but wash it too little and I get a cult following from blow flies like the pied piper!
My routine now is to tie up my hair into a messy pony tail for work after my first training session in the morning, using a little product like a mud or wax to give it more texture (my cheat way to disguise it as an “intentional” hair style!).
It stays like this until after my second session, then I go home and do the standard shampoo and conditioner. I’m using a combo of Pantene light for the shampoo and an Argan conditioner straight after.
Then, I try to towel dry as much as I can with a leave in Argan oil conditioner before I bring out the big guns and finish off with the hair dryer.
Probably not the best products out there being all processed and made from chemicals, but I haven’t done any research into good natural or organic hair products.
Does anyone know any products out there that they can recommend?
Would appreciate some input because I’m not exactly sure what half of these scientific chemicals are on the ingredient labels, but I can be certain that they’re pretty nasty bunny killing poisons.
Feeling like a glamazon until my new blow dry is ruined on the stepper machine,
